She was predeceased by: her husband John Peter Chakales. She is survived by: her children, Peter Chakales (Christina) and Angelique Alexander (Charles); her grandchildren, John Alexander, Raquel Chakales, Eleni Chakales and Margaret Alexander; and her siblings, Lola Tarleton, George Tsirigotis and Nicholas Tsirigotis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (1050 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (2504 Cub Hill Rd, Parkville, MD 21234). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Trinity Memorial Gardens (3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Demetrios Philoptochos Society at the above address.
