She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Akin Hayner; and her parents, Edgar Dunham and Florence Dunham. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Barnes (Kenneth) of Keswick, VA, Julia Beall (Francis "Skip") of Bridgeville, DE and Martha Hayner of Towson, MD; her grandchildren, Heather Starr (Christopher), Kenneth G. Barnes (Kristin), Thomas Lloyd Barnes (Megan), Kyle Pomykala and Claire Pomykala; her great grandchildren, Bridget, Mary Catherine, Eleanor, Patrick Barnes, Jonathan "Jack" Starr and Callum Barnes; and her daughter Evelyn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Slack Funeral Home (3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
