With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene Peltsemes (Towson, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may we find a sense of peace, knowing that the memories we hold dear will continue to shape and inspire us, keeping Irene's spirit alive in our hearts and actions. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness we show others and the joy we find in the ordinary moments of life.

She was predeceased by : her spouse Paraskevas Peltsemes (Voulie); and her sister Julie Soutar. She is survived by : her daughters, Eleni Peltsemes and Theodora Stavrakis (Phillip); her grandchildren, Manoli and Ourania Stavrakis; and her siblings, Betty Dawson and Nicholas Filipidis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (1050 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (2504 Cub Hill Rd, Parkville, MD 21234).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
