He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ira Edward Latham and Isabelle Chaney Latham. He is survived by: his girlfriend Jane Owings Nier; his sons, Jason Ira Edward Latham and Justin Nathanial Latham (Jamie); his girlfriend's son Robert Phipps (Lani); his daughter Emily Phipps Simpson (Carson); his sister Nancy L. Seitz (Alan); his nephew Andrew A. Seitz (Susan); and his niece Amy E. Seitz. He is also survived by brother-in-law, nieces.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 5700 Newbury St., Baltimore, MD 21209. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that donations be made in Jack's memory to the Mayor's Christmas Parade, an event that brought him tremendous joy and to which he dedicated so much of his time.
