He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Natta and Christine Van Natta; his wife Barbara Ann Schemmel; and his son Paul Van Natta. He is survived by : his children, David Van Natta (Beth), Mark Van Natta (Lynn), Kevin Van Natta (Kathy), Kathy Reisig (Tom), Laura Robinson, Mary Rutter (Marc), Karen Bloom (Brian) and Beth Ann Legambi (Frank). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (1050 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (200 Ware Ave, Towson, MD 21204).

Memorial contributions in Mr. Van Natta's name may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and to the Wounded Warrior Project.
