It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie J. Thurston (Towson, Maryland), who passed away on September 2, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Kent W. Thurston; her parents, Bernie Weiland (Papa Joe) and Alice Weiland; and her siblings, Richard Weiland (Dick), Lori Patros, David Weiland and Sue Welch.

She is survived by: her children, Christina Thurston, Leif Thurston (Erin Kelly) and Kirk Thurston (Lydia Thurston); and her grandchildren, Erika, Dane, Erin, Kara, Brooke, Matthew, David, Kelsey and Brittany. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
