With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael J. Van Stone of Towson, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosemary Stone and John Van Stone; his sister-in-law Kathleen (Kathy); his brother John Van Stone (Jack); his former wife Nancy Kunkle; and his pet Max.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Anthony Van Stone (Tana) of Mt. Wolfe, PA and Maureen Lynne Van Stone of Towson, MD; his stepgranddaughters, Haley Updegraff and Kalyn Markel; his granddaughters, Catherine (Cate) and Margaret Ruopp (Meg); his stepgrandson Jordan Ruopp; his nephew John Van Stone (Jack); his niece Katherine Bennett (Andrew); and his great-nephew Charles Van Stone (Charlie).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (1050 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
