He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Carmel and Jeanette Carmel. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Carmel (Schneider); his daughters, Leslie Salters (Stephen) and Marjorie Arnheim (Steven); and his grandchildren, Jonah Arnheim, Miranda Salters and Julian Arnheim.
