He was predeceased by: his parents, Crawford Sevier and Eva Sevier; and his wife Nancy Sevier. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Linda Sevier, Frances Brown (Paul) and Vernon Sevier, Jr. (Marcia); and his grandchildren, Matthew Brown (Elizabeth), Caroline Brown, Grace Sevier (Kirby) and George Sevier.
