He was predeceased by: his children, Robert Brown and Leanne "Maggie" Brown (Steven Brennan); his parents, William "Jack" Raymond Bosley, Sr. and Alice Garrett Bosley Flayhart; and his sibling Marion Bosley Whiteford (Charles Whiteford).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth "Anita" Knott-Bosley; and his children, Sandra Bosley-Betsill (John Betsill), Cheryl Bosley-Brown, Laurie Bosley-Farkas (Kenneth Farkas), Caitlin Brown (Dan Neutzel), Kirstin Betsill Donnelly (Joseph), Maura Brown (Bradley Mitchell), Garrett Betsill (Julia), Chloe Farkas Riley (Sean), Marissa Betsill Eickhoff (Erik) and Keeley Farkas (Evan Bussells). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions in his name to the Boumi Temple Shriners Children's Hospital or the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Muscular Dystrophy Charity.
