He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Belle L. Muir; and his son Charles. He is survived by: his children, Eileen Salvilla Owens (Mike) of Orlando, FL, Douglas F. Muir, III, Michael E. Muir (Barbara), John A. Muir (Marie), Susan Muir Kennedy and Anna Therese Muir; his sister Dorothy Muir Lee; and his stepsons, C. W. Lehew (Cheri) of Punta Gorda, FL and Jon J. Lehew. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren along with numerous cousins, nephews, great nephews; nieces and great nieces.
