She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brainerd Whitney and Ethel Virginia Whitney (Sellers). She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Edwards; her children, Elizabeth "Beth" Gracia (Jorge), David Edwards (Christy), John Edward (Kelly) and Laura Foxwell (Brad); her sisters, Lynda Sheppard (Peter) and Cynthia Clapp (Bill); and her pet Alice. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
