He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Smith and Mabel Baker Smith; and his siblings, Minnie Duble, Emma Reddick and James Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Beard Smith; his daughters, Susanna Brinkerhoff (Creeden) of Hanover, PA and Connie Baugher (Paul) of Taneytown; and his siblings, Bertha Williams of Taneytown and Sterling Smith Sr. of Keysville. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home-Union Bridge (6 E Broadway St, Union Bridge, MD 21791).
