She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. Trimmer and Thelma Elizabeth Biddinger Trimmer; her spouse Lee Shaffer; her stepson Phil Shaffer; her granddaughter Robin Malone; and her brother Robert Trimmer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Yealey (Tom) and Marilyn Hess; her grandchildren, Kasey (Jenn), Cody and Carly (Chris); her great grandchildren, Brody, Madelyn, Jacob, Maxwell and McKinlee; her stepdaughters, Diane Green (Lou) and Debbie Green (Fred); and her siblings, Barbara Christie, Pauline Heininger (Rodney), Earl Trimmer (Ruth), Donald Trimmer (Peggy) and Paul Trimmer (Linda). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
