We announce the death of Kaye Marilyn Emerick of Union Bridge, Maryland, who passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lester and Nora Elizabeth Oberholzer (Barnes); her husband Gary Joseph Emerick; her daughter Kimberly Ann Emerick; her grandson Adam C. Emerick; and her siblings, Eileen Souders, Dolly Shoemaker, Linford Oberholzer, Merle Oberholzer and Donnie Oberholzer.
She is survived by: her son Byron L. Emerick (Cindi) of Union Bridge, MD; her siblings, Lyndell Smith, Carolyn Kendle, Judy Myers, Bernard Oberholzer, Daryl Oberholzer, Richard Oberholzer, Vaughn Oberholzer and Dwaine Oberholzer; and her grandsons, Dalton L. Emerick and James M. Zampier (Katie). She is also survived by three great grandchildren and one expecting great grandson.
