She was predeceased by: her parents, Alden Smith and Charlotte Smith; and her husband Robert Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Doug (Janice) and Valerie; her grandchildren, Blake, Alena, Paul, Andrew, Peter and Sarah; and her great grandchildren, Maggie, Oliver, Sam, Ben and Mason.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 16101 Swanson Road, Upper Marlboro.
