He is survived by: his siblings, Julia Nix, Corene Morgan Odom, Dorothy Webb (Alexander), Abraham Odom (Teloria) and Joseph Odom (Doris); his sisters-in-law, Rena Odom, Thelma Odom, Catherine Odom and Deborah Odom; his uncle Thomas Jones; and his aunts, Mattie Holmes Turner and Annette Holmes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
