He is survived by: his wife Colleen Estelle Adams; his children, Julius Adams (Carolyn), James Adams Jr. (Charelle) and Crystal Adams Dauphinee (Scott); his sisters, Dorothy Adams, Gloria Adams and Sheila Adams (John); and his grandchildren, Ronald Patterson, Kylie Adams, Yuniq Adams and Cassia Dauphinee. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer AME Church (7707 Allentown Rd, Fort Washington, MD 20744). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
