She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Thomas and Tinsley Thomas Sr.; her husband James T. Wicks; and her siblings, Mary Turner, Tinsley Thomas Jr. and Phyllis Osman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Heather Wicks and Keona Franklin; her grandchildren, Kamya, Kyri, Kalen and Kaliah; and her siblings, Arthur Thomas (Esteline), Jane Carr (Dale) and Doris Thomas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in memory of Melissa Thomas-Wicks.
