She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Grace Rose (Stitzel) and Salvatore Gangi; her husband James Grayson "Reds" Compton; and her sisters, Jane and Patricia.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Headley, Evelyn Compton-Padham, Patricia Compton and Eileen Compton-Little; her grandchildren, Marcy Headley, Christy O'Connor, Kyle Headley, Jesse Headley, Thomas Padham, Alex Padham, Nicole Zollickoffer, Ryan Stein and Compton Little; and her great grandchildren, Sydni Butler, Graison Butler, Kendyl Butler, Emory Headley, Ethan Headley, Reagan Headley and Eleanora Padham. She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services (254 E Main St, Westminster, MD 21157).
