He was predeceased by : his parents, George A. Oursler and Mary Elizabeth Oursler (Slasman). He is survived by : his wife Edith "Kitty" VonGunten Oursler; his children, Amy Hart (Randy), Beth Johns (David) and George Oursler (Cherie); and his grandchildren, Allison Johns Geiman (Adam), Matt Hart, Andy Johns, Christie Hart, Tyler Oursler and Ryan Oursler.
