She is survived by: her children, Betty "Tiny", McCandless (Howard), Melody Higgins (Eric), Sylvia Walter (Todd) and George Goldsmith II; and her siblings, Mary Faries, Shirley Greenwell, Jane Moreland, Cora "Bootsie" Buckler, Catherine "Kitty" Collins, Thomas and Roger Alvey. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
