With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Lee Melvin (Waldorf, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Carol's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Carol's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Garrett and Geneva Garrett; her husband Ray Melvin; her sisters, Joan Miller and Suzanne Oliver; and her sons, Michael and Alan.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa (Glenn) and Mark (Deborah); and her daughter-in-law Melinda. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society of Charles County.
