Christopher Idol Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Idol of Waldorf, Maryland, born in Dallas, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlin "Gene" Idol and Catherine "Cat" Idol; and his sisters, Judy Idol and Carolyn Alley. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Idol; his daughters, Alyssa and Amanda Idol; his stepchildren, Charles and Deanna Adams; his mother-in-law Cynthia Anderson; and his sisters, Sharon Parkhurst, Karen Zachary, Becky Kirk, Eugenia Hoskins and Vicki (David Mahan). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Chris requested that donations be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance (http://www.colorectalcancer.org) and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org).
