He is survived by: his former wife Verdell A. Phillips; his sons, Earl Jr., Frederick (Robin), Reuben (Linda) and James (Annie); his former wife Betty G. Tutson; his son Derak; his wife Esther M. Bauldock; his son Brian; his sister Hattie Smalls; and his stepdaughter Coletia. He is also survived by cousins, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
