She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bullett and Elizabeth Bullett; and her husband Nathaniel Mitchell (Mitchell). She is survived by: her daughters, Tracie Mitchell-Dunbar (Marcus) and Kathy Mitchell; and her grandson Marcus Dunbar Jr..
During the COVID pandemic, she began watching the services online, and became particularly fond of Alfred Street Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA.
