He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Milstead Bond and Roderick King; his brothers, Harold, James and Leon; and his grandson Terry Proctor, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Milstead, Stephanie Lassiter (George), Francis Milstead, Darlene, Michael, Parris and Donald; his grandchildren, Anthony Swann and Tiara Milstead; his great grandchildren, Sanaa, Londyn, Terry and Zachary; his siblings, Alfred Milstead (Catherine), Vivian Dorsey, Winston Milstead (Gloria) and Rhonda Taylor; and his close friends, Elaine Burns, Austin Jenkins, Thomas Short, Bobby Yates and Bob Waters. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Terrence L. Johnson Funeral Home Chapel (27 Industrial Park Dr, Waldorf, MD 20602). A burial was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery (8105 Annapolis Woods Rd, Welcome, MD 20693).
