He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Thompson and Winifred Davis Thompson; his sisters, Sarah Arnett, Martha Talkington and Suzanne Thompson; his grandson Nevan Hepp; and his siblings-in-law, Chester Arnett, Gene Talkington, Dennis Meade, Dollie Meade, Mary Jean Embrey and Darlene Carey.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha; his daughters, Amy Hepp (Scott) and Susan Benham (Shawn); his grandchildren, Mason Hepp, Olivia Hepp, Alden Hepp, Anna Benham, Harriet Benham and Evelyn Benham; and his brothers-in-law, Larry, David (Rose Ann), Timothy Meade (Lizzie), Woody Embrey and Ross Carey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
