It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Sheridan Gartland of Waldorf, Maryland, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Blake Gartland and James Francis Gartland I.; his sister Patricia Lou Gartland Parsons; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Parsons (Butch) and Donna Gartland.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Gartland; his daughter Renee Serpico; his brother James F. Gartland II (Cindy); his grandchildren, Tyler Zupko, Michael Serpico (Makenzie) and Kylie Serpico; his nephew Jimmy Gartland (Christy); and his niece Kimberly Gartland.
