It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Christian Lund of Waldorf, Maryland, who passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Peter Lund and Mary Evelyn Lund (Marquis); his wife Betty Louise Snyder Lund of Clinton; his children, Mark Christian Lund and Karen Christina Lund (Matthew Barton); and his sisters, Evelyn Hansine Lund, Mary Beryl Lund and Nell Louise Lund.
He is survived by: his daughter Anita; his grandsons, Peter Arlan Kirk (Fay Reed) and Matthew Christian Lund (Julie Lund); his great grandchildren, David Christian Lund and Caleb Christian Lund; and his sibling's children, Susan Queen (Jeff Morrill) and James Queen (Kay Budner).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory (30195 Three Notch Rd, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622). A prayer will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Parish-Baden (13500 Baden Westwood Rd, Brandywine, MD 20613). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Trinity Memorial Gardens (3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #227.
