He is survived by: his wife Alicia Downs (Munitions Building); his children, Richard Downs Jr. (Alessandra Bianco) and Rebecca Downs Redding (Edward Redding); his sister Virginia Gainer; his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Erin, Dylan and Laila; and his great grandchild Hazel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Service (5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
