He is survived by: his wife Patricia Delea (Bob); his sister-in-law Martha Delea; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas O'Neill (Beth), Michael O'Neill (Shari), Michael Delea (Kris), Mary Beth Delea Hill (Andrew), Kathleen Delea Brown (Cary), Timothy Delea (Chris), Molly Delea McEvoy (Peter) and Richard Delea (Erin).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Huntt Funeral Home (3035 Old Washington Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (3320 St Peters Dr, Waldorf, MD 20601). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to the Center for Children, Inc., P.O. Box 2924.
