He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Goodman and Ruth Goodman; his wife Nancy Goodman; and his siblings, Tommy Goodman and Margeret Dutton.
He is survived by: his children, Robert J. Goodman Jr. and Melissa LaQuay; his children-in-law, Lauren Goodman and Jospeh LaQuay; his grandchildren, Amelia, Layla, Calla and Tucker LaQuay; and his sister Judi Olson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Service (5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Suitland, MD 20746).
