She is survived by: her husband Leland Ashburn; her sons, James, John, Michael, Joe (Carmen) and Mark Ashburn (Kimberly); and her siblings, George, John Schmidl (Trudy) and Mary Gwaltney. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
