She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Wilson Anderson and Willie Mae Summers; her husband Robert Keokuk, Jr.; her son Minyon "Tweedy" Keokuk; and her sister Ann Lingham.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Keokuk, II (Denise), Alleta Maria Keokuk, Chavella Keokuk, Watosia Keokuk (Joyce) and Joby Keokuk (Therese); her grandchildren, Sabrina Keokuk-Conway (Collin), Charles Keokuk (Jacqueline) and Samantha Rose Watkins; her great grandchildren, Keenan Keokuk, Chief Keokuk and Nasir Keokuk; her sisters, Olivia Jones, Sylvia Walker (Jeff) and Renee Price; and her friend Jacqueline Chester (James). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (8816 Chesapeake Ave, North Beach, MD 20714). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Ruby's honor to the Hospice of the Chesapeake (Charles County) in recognition of their compassion and support.
