We are sad to announce that, on May 31, 2023, at the age of 47, Shamell Bernard Benta of Waldorf, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his daughters, Shamalia, Anias, Zyairhara and Micaela; his father Bernard Benta; and his siblings, Abenie, Rida, Taurin and Bernard "BeBe".
