He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Louie Deskins Sr. and Dora Leigh Deskins. He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his sons, Joshua (Anna) and Matthew; his grandson Lucas; and his siblings, Don Deskins Jr. (Lou), Jack Deskins (Lisa), Sandra Wickline (Danny) and Sarah Deskins. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Charles County, 2505 Davis Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20603 where Mark had volunteered.
