He was predeceased by: his wife Dianne Rose Proctor (Thompson); and his son Sheldon N. Proctor, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, David N. Proctor, Sr. (Wanda) and Tammala N. Swann (Wardell); his grandchildren, Kristen Sesker (Darrick), David N. Proctor, Jr., Tammany Hatton (Marques), Tamrin Swann and Sheldon N. Proctor, Jr.; and his siblings, Mark Proctor and Michelle Johnson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the NewLife Church (9690 Shepherds Creek Pl, La Plata, MD 20646). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
