It is with sadness that the passing of John Murray Colhoun (West River, Maryland) is shared. John, born on May 17, 1938, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Albrecht Colhoun; and his parents, Charles Murray Colhoun and Sara Catherine Rigg Colhoun (Kitty). He is survived by: his children, Charles Murray, Brice Metcalfe (Amy), George Allen (Victoria) and Sara Catherine; his grandchildren, Sara Marie, Charles Jr., Chloe, Thomas, Bodhi, William, John and Matthew; and his half-sister Roberta Gwen.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (220 Owensville Rd, West River, MD 20778).
