It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadette Helen Joy of Westminster, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dominica Rajewski (Kruczak) and Ceslaw Rajewski; and her siblings, Stella Profili, Casmir Rajewski, Angie Golebieski and Stanley Rajewski.

She is survived by : her husband Donald V. Joy, Sr.; her children, Sandra Joy-Raines (Harold), Donald V. Joy, Jr. (Lisa), Cynthia Trout (Dan) and Melissa Dowd (Tom); and her grandchildren, Calvin of Westminster, Russell of Westminster, Andrew of Westminster, Austin of Westminster and Finn of Westminster.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Services (254 E Main St, Westminster, MD 21157). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (43 Monroe St, Westminster, MD 21157). A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
