She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Guy and Blanche Leishure; her daughter Carla Lynn Rushing; her husband Carlos D. Rushing Sr.; her siblings, Edward Lee Leisher and Mary Leizear; her nephew Edward Lee Leisher; and her great-nephew Mathew Leizear.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos Rushing Jr. and Mary Pelch (Kevin); her grandsons, Edward Rushing (Hannah), Justin Rushing and Kevin Rushing (Hannah Dever); and her godson Thomas Leizear (Aileen). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
