We announce the death of Daniel H. Young of Westminster, Maryland, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Milton and Helen Young (Miller); his brother Dale Young; and his brothers-in-law, Howard H. Rhoads and Vincent Valianti.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Ann "JoAnn" Valianti Young; his children, Alyson Young Guerra (Joe) and Alex Christopher Young (Shelli); his grandsons, Joseph V. Guerra V and Brayden D. Guerra; his siblings, Joyce Young Rhoads and Steve L. Young (Billie); and his sister-in-law Rebecca "Becky" Valianti.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
