He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Constantine O'Meally, Sr. and Mary Cecilia O'Meally; and his wife Barbara Jane O'Meally. He is survived by: his sons, Edmund J. O'Meally (Dawn) of Westminster, Dr. William O'Meally (Christine) of Baltimore, James O'Meally of Cornville, AZ, John O'Meally (Wendie) of Westminster, Robert O'Meally (Cecille) of Baltimore and Christopher O'Meally of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Brendan, Nicholas, Maggie, Meghan, Logan and Conor; and his great grandchildren, Callie, Ben and Cooper.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (43 Monroe St, Westminster, MD 21157).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Rd., Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.

“I have fond memories of Ed and Barbara O'Meally and their family from our childhood neighborhood of Winchester Park and very sad to hear of Mr. O's passing. I remember him from my youth as a big, quiet, man of imposing stature with a gentle nature and a very witty sense of humor. He and Barbara always welcomed all of their son's friends into their home throughout our middle, high school and college years growing up and I have many fond memories from that time.”
