He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Speck and Esther Speck (Brown); his wife Martha Speck; and his brothers, Wilfred Lorenzo Speck and Herman Clarkson Speck.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Speck (Susan), Missy Cougnet (Chris), Larry Speck (Amy) and Brian Speck (Karen); his grandchildren, Compton Speck, Chatham Speck, David Speck, Joseph Speck, Benjamin Walker and Daniel Speck; and his close friend James Torretti. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren.
