He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Withnell and Clara Green Withnell; and his brother Geoffrey Leigh Withnell. He is survived by: his wife Susan Anderson Withnell; his children, Jeremy David Withnell (Alicia Jean Kirsch) of Norfolk, CT and Heather Dawn Brubach (Brian Matthew Brubach) of Wellesley, MA; his brothers, Brian Jay Withnell of Leesburg, VA and Glenn Scott Withnell of Salisbury, PA.; and his grandsons, Rhys Emerson Withnell, Miles Jerome Brubach and Jamie Dylan Brubach.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Meadow Branch Cemetery (818 Old Taneytown Rd, Westminster, MD 21158). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (65 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157).
