It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Clegg of Westminster, Maryland, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Jackson Clegg and Geraldine Henry; and his siblings, Junior Clegg, Ronnie Clegg, Ginger Reardon and Eddie Clegg.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lee Clegg (Cook); his daughters, Janet Sanders of Taneytown, Debbie Wantz (Leander) of Pleasant Valley, Donna Heartley of Summerville, SC and Karen Dohrenwend (Mike) of Madison, AL; his siblings, Bobby Clegg (Joyce), Ray Clegg, Shirley Ann Highlands, Kathy Cropper, Tammie McIntyre, Jane Grove and Millie Cannon; his grandchildren, Amy Harryman, Jesse Smith, Russell Wantz, Jason Wantz, Heather Bisson, Jennifer Young and Nick Fox; and his great grandchildren, Dominic, Connor, Ryder, Brooklyn and Emmalyn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services (254 E Main St, Westminster, MD 21157). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to a charity of your choice.
