He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Charles, Sr. and Dorothy Mercedes FitzGerald (Ariosa); his wife R. Jean FitzGerald (Bailey); his daughter Kelly Ann Caples; and his grandson Kyle FitzGerald Causey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen Richardson (Todd) and Kristi FitzGerald (Dave); his siblings, Mike FitzGerald, Billy FitzGerald, Jackie Connolly, Peggie Mulkay and Dottie Hunt; his grandchildren, Jake Caples (Jen), Ben Caples, Kory Causey (Michaela) and Abby Ford; and his great grandchild Oakley.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (934 S Main St, Hampstead, MD 21074). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
