He was predeceased by: his parents, John David Bowman III and Ida Margaret Bowman (Nailor); his sister Jen Hayward; and his grandson Carsen Guyer. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy L. Cupp (Gary) of Westminster and Beth A. Sherwood (Tyler) of Everett, PA; his grandchildren, Andrew Cupp (Emily) of Finksburg, Courtney Wagner (Derek) of Hampstead, Caleb Enoff of New York, Reese Sherwood of Everett, PA, Chase Sherwood of Everett, PA and Kade Sherwood of Everett, PA; his great grandchildren, Story, Enzo Cupp, Addysen, Brantley and Jamison Wagner; his brother Joe Bowman of Hagerstown; his brother-in-law John Hayward of Beaufort, SC; his girlfriend Christina Vaughan; and his close friend Mike Stonesifer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157).
