He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Wood and Mathilda Wood (Windisch); his siblings, Jack Richard Wood, Corinthia Y. Elkins and Doris "Dottie" Owens; and his stepdaughter Kate Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Marie Wood; and his stepchildren, Larry Miller, Trudy Glowacki, Yvonne Green and Dooley Miller. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
