It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Means (Westminster, Maryland), who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouses, John W. Means, Sr., Katherine, Kenneth Crum, Maryanna, Harry Cooney and Doris; her granddaughter Hannah; and her son-in-law David.
She is survived by: her children, Denise, Donna Geiman (Jeffrey) of Westminster, John W. Means, Jr. (Doreen) of Westminster and Jeffrey Means of New Orleans, LA; and her grandchildren, Justin, Lucas, John, Erin, Leland, Zachary and Emily. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthews United Church of Christ (1427 Pleasant Valley Rd, Westminster, MD 21158).
